      Indian Take Out

Sherry will discuss Indian cooking pantry essentials and provide a demo of how to work with common Indian ingredients. Sherry will also demo how to fill, shape, and fry Samosas. You'll then work in teams of two to fill and shape your own Samosas, which we will package up for you to take home. Sherry will also demo how to make Naan. Working in teams of two, you will make and fry Naan bread, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Mango Chutney and Raita sauce. Once finished, we'll sit down and enjoy tastes of the Samosas, Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Saag Paneer, with the Mango Chutney and Raita as accompaniments.

  • Knife skills
  • How to make and shape dough for Samosas and Naan
  • How to adjust the spice level of Indian curries
  • Learn about Indian chutneys and sauces
