      Pâte à Choux

During this hands on class, Sherry will teach you what goes into making these bite sized favorites filled with savory meats, seasonings, and more. She'll demonstrate how to work with rice paper, won ton wrappers, and gyoza wrappers to create the perfect spring roll, pot sticker, and shumai dumplings. You'll then work in teams of two to make the fillings, fill the wrappers, and learn to cook pot stickers and shumai using traditional methods. During the class, you'll enjoy bites of satay, pot stickers, spring rolls, and shumai dumplings, packaging up samples of each to share with your friends and family.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to make Pâte à Choux pastry
  • How to use a pastry bag to pipe éclairs and choux puffs
  • How to make Chantilly cream and Crème Pâtissière fillings from scratch
  • How to fill and assemble the pastries
